Halifax, NS (Vocus) June 14, 2010 -- Summer festival season has arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia (http://www.destinationhalifax.com/). In June, two major festivals celebrate food and culture with the ever-popular Greek Fest June 11-13 followed by two days of Nova Scotia seafood at CATCH Nova Scotia Seafood Festival June 19-20 on the waterfront. Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Canada’s Navy with the International Fleet Review Week June 28-July 2. More than 22 foreign naval ships and 5,000 sailors will arrive in the Halifax Harbour, with special ceremonies, entertainment, fireworks and ship tours for everyone to enjoy.

Country music fans will love the Country Rocks the Commons show with George Canyon, One More Girl, Lonestar and Alan Jackson (August 6-7).
